January really is an endless month, huh? There were a lot of fun moments though, let's take you over the best bits!
Winter Wrap-Up
Our festive Creative Competition was finalised, and we couldn't believe how cosy and wholesome your creations were! We had loads of awesome submissions from the community, there could only be one winner, and you folks voted to choose who took home the prize.
A massive congratulations to Vanessa for this build, there were so many details throughout your campus!
G2G Vote
We saw out the final part of our community favourite vote - you let us know you wanted more indoor items, and over the course of the month voted for which mock-up was the best!
We had some contention over here in the studio, we were CONVINCED you folks wanted bin variants! But cute animals (like always, we should have known...) triumphed over logic, with the pet dormitory item taking the win.
Our new furry friend will be scurrying to all platforms, free for all players. Keep your eyes peeled for them coming soon!
Free Update
Alongside some balancing and small patches, we released a set of three items to celebrate Chinese New Year! The items are available across all platforms, and we hope they bring luck this year (we're sure your students could do with some!)
Developer Stream Highlights
Ridiculousness has taken over on the dev stream, with dev cameos, space puns galore, and even rumours of people conversing in the vents; here are some quick clips from the last month to share in some of the silliness. Our favourite clip goes to our QA Manager, Kris, with this cameo appearance which went (mostly) unnoticed by Steggs and Chizel hosting!

Discord Community
Our Discord has been full of wholesome vibes and Hamster uprisings over the last few weeks. To celebrate the community over there we've been updating the Discord, adding new shiny emojis, and a leaks channel for dropping some behind-the-scenes content and upcoming updates ?
Alongside these new additions, we've new community channels for general discussion, and we wanted to share some community animal pics with you all (there are so many so you'll have to join the server to see the rest!)

UCA x Two Point Studios
Over the next few weeks, we're super excited to be working with UCA, who are based here in Farnham! We visited the campus, delivering an introductory lecture for students at the university to gain experience with client briefs as part of one of their modules. They'll be working with us to create in-game items by learning how to use our upcoming modding tools to customise item textures and models.
